Enjoyable escape and would come back easily :)

The Ocean views and calmness of the place in a busy city like Galle was perfect for escaping the heat and crowd when you needed quiet time. The space in our room and facilities exceeded our expectations. It makes you feel like you are on an island by yourself considering all the noise and craziness in the city

Service of staff could have been better. Essential information like when the hotel serves buffet dinner are not stated to you unless you ask. We did not know that the hotel had a buffet in the evenings until we asked about it. Staff here try their best with their service but many also fall short in their service with the way they speak. For a 5 star hotel, the service was at most a 4

Very Good

Excellent location, impressive hotel, great food at Blue Seafood restaurant, welcoming and professional staff.

I had to ask for the room to be cleaned more thoroughly after we checked in, which they mostly did. Some things in the room obviously needed replacing (rusty bin in the toilet, grubby rug in the bedroom, wonky bedside lamps). People were allowed to smoke by the pool and there were not enough sun loungers for all guests. The tuktuk drivers hanging out outside told my Uber driver that they can’t pick people up from the hotel.

Great place to stay in Galle

Great hotel in a good location, just out of the Fort. Good sized pool overlooking the sea and Fort with a small rocky cove where you can access the sea. Food is good. We booked half board and they let us change to breakfast and lunch so that we could explore the Fort on an evening when slightly cooler.

Great, comfortable short stay

It was great stay, We stayed over night, comfortable, nice room amenities, beautiful hotel scenary and breakfast was great. Enjoyed a pool early morning and there is also a small beach accesible from the hotel.

The hotel has a TV system with information and there was no information available. I gave my clothes to laundry and they wrote with a pen on each item room number, so a bit annoying as no other hotel in Sri Lanka did it.

Nice place to stay

Room is very large and comfortable. View is amazing. Personal is very helpful and friendly. Food was tasty. Hotel is situated close to fort. Nice place to stay.

Very well established hotel with great room and kitchen

The room size and lights. Comfortable bed. The view from balcony was amazing. Don't miss the sunset.

Materials are a bit worn out but nothing serious. Our bathtub was a bit dirty so we didn't use it. Watch out in buffet restaurant. They will charge you water.

A beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff

The hotel was beautiful, tastefully decorated, clean and very well maintained. Staff were friendly and accommodating. It's also about an 8 minute walk from the entrance of the Historic Galle Fort. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were exceptionally comfortable.

Very minor - The privacy curtains across the bathroom windows (which face only inside the room) could have been better.

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional and left an indelible mark on my memory. From the moment we arrived, Rajitha extended a warm and gracious welcome that set the tone for our entire visit. Her hospitality was both heartwarming and genuine, making us feel like cherished guests from the very start. Our time at the hotel was nothing short of magical. The accommodation was impeccable, with every detail thoughtfully considered to ensure our comfort and delight. The rooms were not only comfortable but beautifully appointed, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. The true standout of our stay, however, was the staff. "Amazing" hardly does justice to their level of service and commitment to guest satisfaction. They anticipated our needs before we even realized them, always wearing welcoming smiles, and going above and beyond to make our stay extraordinary. In fact, I am so impressed with this hotel that I wholeheartedly recommend it for a lifetime. The overall experience was nothing short of amazing, and the staff, in particular, made our visit exceptional. A really great hotel that needs just a few details sorted out to make it brilliant

This was an excellent hotel in a great location. The gardens and pool were very good and the room was generally great. The staff were lovely providing very good and friendly service. The lunch menu and food was really good. The evening buffet was okay but not as brilliant as the rest of the hotel. The one comment would be the bed - there was a very cheap and nasty plastic mattress protector that was really uncomfortable and caused a lot of sweat; whilst the need for mattress protectors are understood there are much, much better ones available.

The truly horrible mattress protector that was like a crinkled, uncomfortable piece of cheap plastic.
